Need Some Curb Appeal? MG Educational Meeting on 5/18

Join the Union County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers for their Monthly Education Meeting this Thursday evening at 7pm at the Union County Agricultural Center.

The Topic will be Creating Curb Appeal, presented by Union County Extension Master Gardener Volunteer, Mary Sipe.  Depending upon your resource, you can find that a well-landscaped yard can increase the value of your home up to 15%.  So curb appeal can be important, especially if you may be trying to sell your home.

Mary is involved with the Union County Master Gardeners in several projects, but her major focus is in the Teaching Garden.  Mary is also a long-time member and Past President of the Garden Club of Weddington, a member of her town’s Parks, Recreation and Greenway Board, and has been active in the management of her neighborhood’s common area for the past ten years.  She moved to Charlotte from her home town of Atlanta in 1998 to the historic Elizabeth area and to Union County in 2007 to a four acre property where she has created even more gardens.  Now that she has retired, she is able to indulge her gardening addiction full time.

Join us to learn tips and techniques from Mary on how to make your home and garden have curb appeal.
