Hi, my name is Aaron Moore and I am the new Area Specialized Small Farm Agent working in Union, Anson and Stanly counties. I grew up on a small farm in Randolph County where I gained an appreciation for the small farm way of life. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture Education and I have worked professionally in the agriculture and green industry for over 10 years.

As a Small Farms Agent, my goal is to provide educational opportunities and technical assistance to small farmers as they improve their production and business practices. I am currently making it my priority to meet with farmers in the area to learn more about each county and their exciting and diverse farming operations.

If you are in Union, Anson or Stanly county and have a small farm or are thinking about starting a small farm give me a call at 704-283-3743 and see how Cooperative Extension can help you succeed in your business.
