The 17-year-old Waxhaw Farmers Market in downtown Waxhaw is seeking applicants for the position of market manager. This is a salaried 10-15 hour per week position, 4-5 hours on Saturday morning and 4-5 variable hours during the week. The position requires knowledge of and passion for locally grown and produced foods and specialty items.

The candidate should have strong organization skills, as well as basic bookkeeping, marketing, event planning, communication, and community building skills. Creative problem solving, and an ability to work independently and prioritize time effectively will be important. We are looking for someone with experience related to the job.
