The number one reason people give for not fixing meals at home is they do not Freezer Meal flyer image have enough time. Time is precious to everyone but we also need nutritious meals to help us stay healthy. Freezer meals are one way to help you save time with your cooking, serve nutritious meals for your family, and enjoy family time.

Freezer meals are meals prepared ahead of time and frozen until time to cook. The key to freezer meals is to keep it simple and delicious. This workshop will give you hands-on experience as we prepare 4 freezer meals. You will be given recipes for simple and delicious freezer meals and you will learn how to prepare or pack a freezer meal, and how to keep them safe.

The class will meet Tuesday, September 10, 2019, at 6 p.m. at the Nash County Ag Center 1006 Eastern Ave. Nashville. Please call 252.459.9810 to sign up and register. The cost of the class is $25.00 and payment must be made at time of registration. Payment can be mailed to N.C. Cooperative Extension, Nash County Center, 1006 Eastern Avenue Nashville, NC 27856 or brought to the office. Payment should be made payable to Nash County.
