NC Small Grain Growers Association 2019 Assessment Referendum

The NC Small Grain Growers Association 2019 Assessment Referendum will be held here at the Union County Ag Center in our Lobby Area on August 7, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
ELIGIBILITY:  Any NC farmer who is a grower of small grain (wheat, oats, rye, barley, grain sorghum and canola/rapeseed). A farmer/grower must sign an affidavit sheet claiming age, ownership, and residency.
AGE:  Any farmer/grower over the age of 18 on August 7, 2019.
BALLOT SPECIFICS:  “Yes” indicates a vote in favor of continuing the state assessment program on small grain. “No” indicates a vote against continuing the state assessment on small grain.
OWNERSHIP CHALLENGES:  A farmers/grower’s age, residency, and ownership status can be challenged.
ABSENTEE VOTING:  There will NO Absentee Voting.
SIGN-IN SHEET:  Voters will need to sign an affidavit attesting to residency (sign-in sheet)
ONE DAY TO VOTE:  August 7, 2019
BALLOTS:  All ballots must be placed in the box.
