soil test kit drop off area

Soil test kits are now available outside our main entrance.

Like everyone else, we are practicing social distancing here in Chatham County. Effective Monday, March 23, 2020, staff will be working remotely which means we can assist you either by phone or email. If you need to contact a staff member directly please call their direct line and leave a voicemail. Our voicemail system will deliver your message to the staff member’s email.  If you do not leave a message, we can not return your calls.  Please do not call repeatedly thinking someone will answer the phone because the person you may be trying to reach will not be in the office. Once again, since staff will be working remotely every day you should contact them directly.  Click here for a staff member’s email address or direct line to leave a message.

If you are needing soil sample kits and nematode kits please be aware that we have moved that outside by our entrance door. There is signage so that you can locate those items easily. (See picture above)

Our Master Gardener℠ volunteers are still taking calls and emails if you should have any gardening questions. The walk-in clinic has been suspended until further notice. Please be aware, if you would like to speak to a Master Gardener volunteer you will need to leave a voicemail so that they can return your call to assist you. You may also email the Master Gardeners. View the Master Gardener℠ volunteers page and contact information.

COVID-19 information is changing constantly. If we encounter any changes that affect our office hours we will be sure to update you here.
