Sweet Treat ChampionsYouth in Swain County had a rewarding and educational experience learning baking techniques and candy making skills through a bake off. The purpose of the Sweet Treat Bake-off was to encourage adults and youth to work together on a baking project. Baking was done by the youth with supervision, directions, suggestions, and help from an adult.

Categories included: cookies, breads/muffins/rolls, cakes, cupcakes, decorated items, healthy choices and candies. A special thank you to the judges for taking the time to judge all the delicious entries and electing the category winners.
