Check Out 4-H Summer Fun Cooking Camps!
School is almost out, but learning fun new skills doesn’t have to end for kids! This summer Union County 4-H is offering two great Summer Fun camps that teach kids about cooking, food safety, and outdoor barbeque! July 2nd is our Barbeque Bootcamp.
This one-day camp teaches kids ages 10-14 about different cuts of meat, food safety when handling meat, and safety of outdoor grilling. At the end, your child will be able to grill and make their own food with safety and fun. July 12th – 19th will be our 4-H Kid Chef camp for ages 9-12. All week, this virtual camp will bring skills of cooking, baking, food safety, and background knowledge on different foods. It’s a popular and fun camp for your child to explore their growing culinary skills!
