Want to learn how to sew or improve your current skills? Then this is the series for you! Beginner students will learn how to properly use a sewing machine, cut accurately, sew straight and curved seams, and many other sewing skills. Intermediate or returning students will learn how to use a pattern to complete a sewing project. Participants are encouraged to bring their own sewing machines, so they can learn how to use their particular machine. Cooperative Extension has six machines available for use during class;  these will be reserved on a first come, first served basis for those indicating the need for one when registering.

Registration is $40 and the registration deadline is Friday, April 1, 2022. The series is limited to 12 students per class due to space limitations. Payment can be made at the Cooperative Extension Center by check or money order ONLY (made payable to Robeson County Cooperative Extension) and registration must be paid to reserve your space in class.   NO SEATS WILL BE HELD WITHOUT PAYMENT.

Beginner Students: Registration fee includes all practice material and two small projects.

Intermediate/Returning Students: Registration fee includes pattern and all materials for one large project. In addition, students, with instructor guidance,  can choose a second project and purchase required materials.

For more information, contact Jessie Jones, Family and Consumer Sciences agent, at 910-671-3276 or jessie_jones@ncsu.edu.
