National Nutrition Month is a celebration and education and knowledge in our foods that we eat! The theme for this month is “Personalize your Plate”. This can mean getting creative with how every meal looks for breakfast lunch and dinner. In the morning, why not try some lean turkey in a wrap with veggies and a bowl of fruit? Maybe for dinner, it’s pork chops with roasted cauliflower? For drinks it could be a small coffee with minimal added sugar, a small cup of 100% fruit juice, and a lot of water throughout the day. It’s all about creativity and eating a variety of food groups. So, Happy National Nutrition Month, and remember to “Personalize Your Plate!”
