Join Union County Cooperative Extension for our 2026 Spring Canning Series and learn how to safely preserve fresh foods at home. Whether you’re brand new to canning or want hands-on practice, these classes will teach you the basics and best practices.

May Series (Tuesday afternoons 1–4 PM):
• May 4 – Introduction to Canning (FREE)
• May 11 – Water Bath Canning: Tomatoes – $20
• May 18 – Pressure Canning: Carrots – $20

June Series (Saturday mornings 9 AM–12 PM):
• June 13 – Introduction to Canning (FREE)
• June 20 – Water Bath Canning: Tomatoes – $20
• June 27 – Pressure Canning: Carrots – $20
