Growing Trees & Shrubs
Trees and shrubs serve as the foundation or anchor for our landscapes. They bring color, privacy, shade, wildlife, as well as year round interest to our gardens.Join Horticulture Extension Agent, Debbie Dillion, to learn trees and shrubs that perform well in the southern piedmont and ones that can be used to fill certain needs or wants in the landscape such as screening or shade. Participants will learn about right plant, right place and proper planting techniques.
Two identical sessions of this workshop are available to fit your schedule:
Tuesday March 9, 2021 6 pm – 8 pm REGISTER
Wednesday March 10, 2021 10 am – Noon REGISTER
Each class costs $8 per person or if you sign up for all 7 classes, cost is $40. Registration and fee is required by March 2, 2021. Select a date and click on the REGISTER link above. Payment must be made at the Union County Extension Office, 3230 Presson Rd, Monroe, NC 28112.
All classes will be held virtually using Zoom. Once you are registered the Zoom link will be sent to you on Monday prior to the class.
