This month, UC Extension is thrilled to announce the completion and subsequent grand opening of The Special Events Center at Jesse Helms Park. In conjunction with UC Parks & Rec, we are excited to be able to offer yet another educational and recreational space for the residents of our community. We also have several highlights from our 4-H Summer Fun program this month. Campers are making new friends, learning new things, and creating new experiences with the wide offering of camps this summer. Lastly, we would like to mention our friends at the CGIN. This professional network of green industry professionals worked diligently this past month to create a new walking path for the UC Master Gardeners Teaching Garden.
