Trees & Shrubs

Trees and Shrubs serve as the foundation or anchor for our landscapes. They bring color, privacy, shade, wildlife, as well as year-round interest to our gardens.

Join Horticulture Extension Agent, Debbie Dillion, to learn trees and shrubs that perform well in the southern Piedmont and ones that can be used to fill certain needs or wants in the landscape such as screening or shade. Participants will learn about right plant, right place; proper planting techniques; and proper timing and techniques for pruning. Bring a pair of hand pruners to practice proper pruning cuts.

Two identical sessions of this workshop are available to fit your schedule:

Tuesday           March 19, 2019           6–8 p.m. REGISTER
