Count On Me NC

A new training program in North Carolina has begun, and it seeks to make our communities safer as restrictions during COVID-19 are relaxing for North Carolina Businesses. “Count On Me NC” is a new program from a collaboration with North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, NC State Extension, North Carolina Restaurant and Lodging Association, and Visit NC to provide voluntary and free training to businesses that may serve food, lodge occupants, help communities, and draw attraction.

The training is based on state and national guidelines and is rooted in the science and research on best practices in distancing physically and socially, employee health and cleaning, sanitizing, and disinfecting within business spaces. Businesses who participate in this program will be recognized through the Count On Me NC website. For more information on this program check out Count On Me NC or contact our office at (704) 283-3801 and reach out to North Carolina Cooperative Extension of Union County. Be sure to help keep North Carolina safe!
