Union County 4-H Excels at NC State Horse Show
Union County 4-H Horse riders shined brightly at the NC State 4-H Horse Show over the Summer, showcasing their hard work and passion for horsemanship.
Competing against some of the best young equestrians across the state, Union County participants delivered outstanding performances across multiple classes.
The NC 4-H Horse Show is an event that ignites the competitive spirit in young equestrians, culminating in a year’s worth of dedication and skill development. This event encourages youth to participate in local, qualifying, state, and regional shows.
Beyond competition, the NC 4-H Horse program promotes critical values such as sportsmanship, teamwork, and a love for animals, all while contributing to the growth of the equine industry in the state.

As the dust settles from the NC State 4-H Horse Show, Union County’s equestrian community reflects on a memorable and successful event. Our riders’ impressive performances are a testament to their hard work, the support of their families, and the guidance of their 4-H leaders.
These achievements not only celebrate their talents but also highlight the strength and spirit of Union County’s 4-H program. We are excited to build on this success, continuing to foster a love for horses and horsemanship among our youth. Congratulations to all our participants and their families for their dedication and outstanding accomplishments.
