Discovery Summer with Union County 4-H

Exciting summer adventures, learning, and friendship aways

photos of summer camp kids

Each summer, Union County 4-H welcomes youth ages 5-14 to a fun lineup of day and overnight camps filled with hands-on learning, creativity, and adventure. Hosted at the Union County Agricultural Center, these camps make summer exciting and meaningful, blending interactive activities from nature exploration to arts and crafts, STEM, and leadership. Many activities are drawn from 4-H’s research-based programs, giving kids a chance to keep learning, build confidence, and gain independence in a safe and inclusive space. Campers come away with new skills, memorable experiences, and friendships that last beyond summer.

Our camp lineup changes each year, bringing fresh activities and new adventures for campers to explore summer after summer. Many campers attend multiple camps throughout the season and return year after year. When they age out of participating as campers, some even come back as Counselors in Training, stepping up as teen leaders to help make camp just as memorable for the next generation.
