Student Loan Forgiveness, Student Loan Forgiveness Waiver, Student Loans, Loans, Public Service Student Loans, The Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program is a benefit to everyone in the community who are looking for relief from Student Debt. This program forgives part of student loans being paid by workers in government and nonprofit sectors after 10 years of service. If you qualify for this program there is still time to act! Recently there has been an update from the Federal Student Aid department of the US Department of Education on waiver eligibility for the program. Through October 31st, 2022 student loan borrowers “may receive credit for past periods of repayment that would otherwise not qualify for PSLF”. This means that payments on student loans that were considered ineligible for the program may now be counted through the temporary waiver. For people who may have not been considered eligible in the past, this is a great opportunity to gain eligibility for the first time until October 31st of this year. For more information, check out the Federal Student Aid website for the Department of Education, and hopefully you can find a little bit more peace in your path to financial calm.
