Pork Chops are a wonderful cut of pork that is pretty lean like many of other cuts of pork. A great recipe to try this weekend is Honey Garlic Pork Chops. It’s wonderful with a side of roasted vegetables, and from this recipe, it is 348 calories. What a great source of proteins.

3 Honey Garlic Pork Chops on Black Skillet

15 oz. center cut boneless pork chops
Salt & Ground Black Pepper
1 tablespoon Vegetable Oil
2 tablespoon unsalted butter
3 cloves of garlic
1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Honey Sauce Ingredients: 
2 ½ tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons warm water
¼ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon apple cider vinegar

Season the pork chops with salt and pepper, and mix together ingredients for the honey sauce in a separate bowl. After, heat skillet (cast iron preferred) on high heat. Add the vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of butter into the skillet and pan fry the pork chops on each side for 3-4 minutes. After cooking, push the pork chops to the corner of the pan and add remaining butter and garlic. Sauté for 10 seconds. After add the honey sauce to the pain and let the sauce reduce to a thick consistency and spoon over pork chops. Serve with parsley for a wonderful dinner!
