Med Instead of Meds Poster with Foods

Summer is a great time to get back outside, take in some more activity, and begin steps to a healthier lifestyle. What better way to do this, but the “Med Way”?

Our Weekly Med Instead of Meds classes are back starting Monday, June 28, 2021! The virtual sessions are here to help teach our communities about healthier eating habits based on the Mediterranean food pattern at no cost. The program will be virtual through live classes each Monday at 1 p.m., and will leave participants with great tips on “eating the med way”, hacks, and recipes to jumpstart you to better health outcomes! In some cases, eating the Med Way may even result in decreasing medication taken for high blood pressure, high cholesterol, or diabetes.
